Position Summary:
Schnell Industries Inc. is looking for a dependable, hands-on Warehouse Operations Associate to support daily warehouse activities and take ownership of improvement projects. The successful candidate will work alongside the Warehouse Lead, gaining broad exposure to warehouse operations, inventory control, material flow, scheduling, and team coordination.
This position is well suited to someone who is willing to begin with all levels of warehouse work—from routine picking and material handling to process improvement projects—and who has the initiative and leadership potential to take on greater responsibility as they grow within the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day warehouse duties, including picking, receiving, staging, organizing, and moving materials as required.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages, discrepancies, and material concerns.
- Assist with inventory control, including maintaining accurate locations, min/max levels, and related records.
- Work closely with the Warehouse Lead to learn warehouse workflows, priorities, scheduling, and team coordination.
- Take ownership of warehouse improvement projects, from planning through implementation and follow-up.
- Coordinate, communicate, and plan future projects with Warehouse, Purchasing, Assembly, and other departments as needed.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, safe, and efficient warehouse environment, including indoor and outdoor storage areas.
- Support receiving and the movement of parts into and out of the warehouse.
- Safely operate forklifts and related material-handling equipment.
- Troubleshoot issues, solve problems on the spot, and escalate concerns when needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in reading and writing English.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills and technical aptitude; experience with Microsoft and/or ERP programs is an asset.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and follow-through skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage changing priorities, and take responsibility for assigned work.
- A positive, respectful attitude with a willingness to learn, cross-train, and contribute wherever needed.
- Ability to safely lift and move parts weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Experience operating a forklift or telehandler is an asset; training may be provided to the right candidate.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Previous warehouse, inventory, manufacturing, or material-handling experience is an asset.

- Escalate equipment repair needs accordingly
Qualifications:
- Ability to stand for long periods and handle physical work
- Comfortable using electronic devices and technical documentation
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively
- Reliable, motivated, and self-directed
